On October 25, 2023, BYD brought five new energy models and core technologies to the 47th Tokyo Motor Show (renamed "Japan Mobility Show" in 2023), becoming the first Chinese automaker to participate in the show and showcasing the power of Chinese brands to the world.
At the press conference, BYD brought the pure electric coupe "Seal" to the show. As BYD's million-dollar high-end new energy vehicle brand, Yangwang also made its debut at an overseas auto show. Its first model, U8, demonstrated the function of "turning around in the same place" and became the focus of the whole show due to its subversive technology and performance. BYD's Tengshi brand also displayed its first luxury MPV, the D9, which attracted many exhibitors to visit and experience.
This Tokyo Motor Show Encore is responsible for the construction and production, AV, launch process, media day and public day on-site operation, after 3 months of preparation, Tokyo Pavilion communication, customs and maritime declarations, multiple batches of personnel out of customs, hundreds of on-site staff recruitment and other multiple obstacles, and ultimately the site has become the audience to watch the show, playing the most popular booths.
